NB-IRDT was established as a research data centre in 2015 to serve the important role of facilitating researcher access to prepared and/or de-identified personal level administrative data in a secure, controlled environment while ensuring the protection of personal privacy of New Brunswickers.
This one-hour session will provide a general overview on the role of NB-IRDT with respect to administrative data sets, the steps for researcher/clinicians to follow when seeking access to data sets and the safeguards and mechanisms in place to address privacy protection standards and legislative requirements.
