Concepts In Epidemiology

May 5, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

NB-IRDT is happy to announce the first session of its “Concepts in…” series: Concepts in Epidemiology.

Epidemiology is the study of how health is distributed in populations and what factors determine good and bad health. The goals of epidemiological investigations are to control disease and improve health and wellness. Most familiar to most people these days is the need to control and to develop an understanding of the infectious disease SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), with the goal of controlling the spread of infection and improving health outcomes in those who are infected.
